COLLEGE DAY

 

STEP A:

  1. If you are on:   

·                     The possible/Failure list at any time with an “I” or a grade of “69” or less

·                     If you have not had a senior conference

·                     If you have failed a semester course your senior

YOU CANNOT TAKE AN EXCUSED COLLEGE DAY.

THIS ABSENCE WILL COUNT AGAINST YOUR EXEMPTIONS.

  1. College days cannot be taken in December, the week prior to Spring Break, nor May.
  2. Students may be granted up to two college days.

 

Step B:

In order to take a College Day you must:

·                     Complete and return the College Day sheet ONE WEEK prior to the college day.

·                     Parental Permission must be obtained through a phone conversation with your parent and the counselor.  Parents’ home phone _________________

Step C:

To obtain an excused College Day Permit:

·                     You must bring to school a written statement (on official college stationary) informing us of your college adviser’s name, position, and signature.

Violation of these guidelines will eliminate your participation in any college day for the remainder of the school year.
