From the Desk of the Principal:
Welcome back for another great year at Spring Hill High School!!
We have really had a great start. Most of our students have returned ready to learn. We have several new teachers, a new band director, and a new counselor. Kayla Lindsey has moved from the math department and is doing an excellent job as our new counselor. We are very pleased to have Randy Kiser as our new band director. He is really doing a great job with our band. Laura Langham is our new choir director. Our new Debate coach is Jennifer White, a former Spring Hill student. She will also serve as our UIL academic coordinator and is teaching AP government and regular government. We have Sharon Redman, an excellent addition to our math department. A new teacher in Science is Beau Martin, teaching Chemistry and IPC. Amy McFatridge is doing a great job in our English department. We have added another former student to our Spanish department, Tommy Mitchell. We are pleased to have Karen Brundrett, a new coach and science teacher. I believe we are very fortunate to have been able to add all of them to our staff.
We have emphasized this year three words that are key to our success in all areas. Those words are Respect, Responsibility, and Expectations. Please help us remind students of the importance of each word. Our students have done a great job so far of obeying rules and respecting each other and their teachers. I really appreciate it.
We are looking forward to a great school year, especially academically!!
