Dinner Theatre

The Spring Hill HS Theatre Dept. Proudly presents Their 2nd annual Dinner Theatre Friday, February 19, at 6pm and Saturday, February 20, at 12 noon. The students will be performing the British comedy murder mystery, Agatha Christie Made Me Do It. Tickets are $20 for a wonderful audience participation mystery play, appetizers, dinner, and dessert. Reservations are required for the dinner theatre. To place your reservation please email Jennifer Pritchett at jpritchett@springhill.esc7.net or call 903-806-7045. Friends of the Theatre are also required to reserve their tables as soon as possible.
One-Act Play

The Spring Hill Junior High placed second at their district UIL One-Act Play competition Friday, January 29 performing the play "Hopes and Words and Ordinary Things". This is only the second year for SHJH to compete in OAP. They recieved 6 individual awards as well. Brooke Terry and Jordan McCutheon revieved an outstanding tech award. Holly Moore was awarded Honorable Mention All-Star Cast. Racheal Reistenberg and Ruby Gamboa both recieved the All-Star Cast award and Lydia Wallis took home the Best Actress award. The play was directed by SHHS theatre teacher Jennifer Pritchett and Assistant Director was senior Michelle Goodman.
Theatre Dept. Fall Musical

The Spring Hill Theatre Dept. has begun rehearsals for their fall musical "Side Show". This Tony Nominated Broadway Musical is based on a true story about Siamese twin Violet and Daisy Hilton who became stars during the Depression. Side Show is a moving portrait of two women joined at the hip whose extrodinary bondage brings them fame but denies them love. This musical will be a night to remember. Performance dates will be Nov. 20 & 21 at 7pm and Nov. 22 at 2pm. Tickets will be $8. For more info email jpritchett@springhill.esc7.net.
Also I would like to invite everyone to become a Friend of the Theatre for the 09-10 school year. To become a friend you can purchase a membership card to the theatre which will gain you 2 adult admissions to all of our shows this school year as well as your name or business printed in all of our programs.
