World Geography is structured to provide students with information necessary to understand the physical and cultural characteristics of the world in which we live and as a result to make intelligent decisions about our world.  Content emphasis is on physical geography, which includes the study of land forms, bodies of water, and climates along with human geography that focuses on the study of political, economic, and social structures of human life.
