Welcome to my computer class!!!
"Keyboarding - an essential skill for success
in the Digital Age."
Computers
have become an integral part of the classroom. However, before students can
master the computer, they must first learn to use the keyboard. This helps
students to get the most out of their computing experience, and helps schools
get the most out of their technology investment. When it comes to keyboarding,
practice makes perfect. Third grade students occasionally work on the program
Touch Typing for Beginners. The fourth grade classes do keyboarding about once
a week in order to sharpen their skills. If you have a word processor at home,
please encourage your child to practice typing skills by typing letters to
friends or doing a report.
