READING - We will do some last minute reviewing on Monday for our TAKS reading test which is this Wednesday, April 30. Students will begin picture book projects on Thursday. Students need 68 AR points for the year with an 80% average to participate in the kickball tournament. Please see that they continue reading at home!

SPELLING - No spelling this week. April Spellbound test is next Tuesday, May 6.

Social Studies - We are studying Ch. 6.

Reminders for the Week

¨ The time has come!! TAKS Math & TAKS Reading tests will be Tuesday and Wednesday.The students have been working very hard! Thank you so much for all of your support and encouragement at home!

Here are a few reminders to help them do their best on these 2 days:

*Get a good night's sleep each night.

*Bring a bottle of water( no juices, carbonated drinks, Gatorade, etc.) and a healthy, non-messy snack (crackers, cheese, fruit, nuts, etc.)

*A breakfast sandwich, juice and milk will be provided for each student free of charge both mornings between 7:45 and 8:00 a.m. Of course, they may eat at home if they choose.

*Please have your child to school on time; the tardy bell rings at 8:05 a.m.

¨Congratulations to Lauren, Kelly, Julian, Conner, Cameron and Alexis for making 100 on March Spellbound test!

¨ I will post all of our end of year events next week. We have a busy and exciting month in May planned! Please encourage and remind your students how important it is to follow our school rules so they can participate in all the fun events Mrs. Neely and the staff have planned!
