Our story this week is called "Floating Home." When Maxine gets an assignment to look at her home in a new way, she travels all the way to space. Maxine meets other astronauts and learns all about space travel. But most importantly, Maxine realizes that her home can be bigger than her house, town, or state. She sees the whole planet Earth as her home.

ENGLISH
We will continue our study of Adjectives.
Science
We will be studying Our Solar System.
We have a project to do before next Friday. There is a note attached to your child's Friday packet. They have to build a spaceship from things around the house. Please don't spend any money. The spelling words for next week need to be somewhere on the project.
Have a nice weekend.
