to our parents for a great response to the Open House & Jumpstart. We
appreciate you so much for your support and participation. Please know that
you are invited to visit Jumpstart any Monday or Friday at 7:45 a.m. *Announcements* 1. Skate shoes and
ripped jeans are not allowed at school—this policy is not new—it has been in
place since school started, August 27, 2007.. Please send your
student in regular dress. . 2.The after school SHINE
program will run the following schedule March 25-April 24: *Third Grade* Tuesday & Thursday
3:30-4:30 p.m. *Fourth Grade* Tuesday & Thursday 3:30-4:30 p.m. ************************************ Character Trait for April Joy Recognize students

information sheet to subscribe to Parent
Access in the office. Please bring your driver’s license with you—the
office will make a copy for our files. Once you sign on to VSI you can monitor your child’s
grades and attendance. Call the office at 903.323.7701 *************************** Reminders: 1) Please have your child to school on time; the tardy bell rings at 8:05 a.m. Remember, 3 tardies makes an unexcused absence. 2) Go to the district website for
information about registering for Parent Access. Contact the
intermediate school for details. 3) Check-out teacher web pages for third
and fourth grades. They are full of information regarding
