Section 1:

Improving your child’s reading

·        Give a book to your child as a reward

  • Let your child choose a book for a friend as a birthday present
  • Help your child participate in a drama class at a community theater or church
  • Encourage your child to read to a younger child.  Both will benefit.

Section 2: Reality  Fun

Stories are fun, but nonfiction books are just as interesting.

Try books on cooking, animals, and sports.
