Spelling: very, thing, name, sentence, great, after, just, good, think, where, because, friend

Math: We are continuing with double facts and doubles plus one facts. We will be writing math sentences to go along with problems. We are making extending patterns and will be learning about additive patterns.

Reading/Language Arts: We are reading "The Giving Tree" and doing many activities with this story. We are sequencing story events. We are learning about vowel consonant vowel patterns like: baby, even, tiger, over, and music. We are reading diphthong oi, oy, ou, and ow words.

Social Studies: We are learning about President's Day and the presidents we honor for this special day. We will be learning about President Lincoln and Washington.
